PT. IAS finally won an international bid of Fokker F-28 airframe D-Check Inspection and IRAN of Philippine Air Force. The aircraft is the VVIP A/C, operated by the Air Force it self and serves as the "Air Force One".

The "winning" PT. IAS team lead by CEO Mr. Freddy Franciscus and EVP Marketing Mr. Djoko Priyono, said as the lowest bid price by the bid committee of Philippine Air Force at Quenzon City, Manila last Thursday.

The bid was participated by five company in the region, two locally MRO and three others are PT. IAS, Stork (Fokker Service Asia), and Merpati Maintenance Facility. The contract will be signed end of this month in Manila.



During period of contract, PT. IAS will maintain D-Check, IRAN, component repair, interior refurbishment, and exterior painting. The project is the second VVIP aircraft project held by PT. IAS. First project is the annual inspection of British Aerospace RJ85 Indonesian Secretary of State.

D-Check inspection will be carried out at PT. IAS Facility, Pondok Cabe Airbase for three months calendar days.
